Professional dancer and choreographer Carrie Ann Inaba, who is a judge on the competition series “Dancing With the Stars,” has executed a move away from the set, selling her home in Valley Village for $1.15 million.

Tucked behind tall hedges and gates, the 1940s house is surrounded by lush landscaping and mature trees.

The 2,252 square feet of living space has been recently updated and includes hardwood floors, decorative tilework and crown molding. Sets of French doors bring in views of tropical and drought-tolerant gardens.

Among the common areas are a formal dining room, an updated kitchen, a breakfast nook and an office/den. There are fireplaces in the living and family room areas.

The master suite — one of three bedrooms and two bathrooms — includes a custom walk-in closet with its own dressing room. A large soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower highlight the master bath.

Outdoors, there’s a paver patio and a detached bonus room/guest quarters. A carport sits off the front entrance.

Sharon Rollins of Keller Williams Realty and Mark Williams of Signature Properties were the listing agents, property records show. Brett Hazard of Dilbeck Real Estate represented the buyer.

The 48-year-old Inaba has been on the reality dance contest show since 2005. She appeared in two of the “Austin Powers” films as well as on the series “In Living Color” from 1990 to 1992 as one of the “Fly Girls.”
