Burt Sugarman and Mary Hart pick up another condo at the Sierra Towers
Producer Burt Sugarman and his wife, television host Mary Hart, have bought another condominium in West Hollywood for $4.65 million in an off-market deal. The seller was Evan Metropoulos, the son of billionaire C. Dean Metropoulos.
Found within the Sierra Towers, the celebrity-popular high-rise where Hart and Sugarman set a price record with a condo purchase last year, the southeast-corner unit has two bedrooms and three bathrooms in roughly 1,700 square feet of living space.
Among features of note are polished concrete floors, motorized window shades and a freestanding soaking tub. Walls of windows take in the downtown cityscape.
Two parking spaces are included with the unit.
The condo previously sold two years ago for $3.5 million, public records show.
In January, the median sale for condominiums in the 90069 ZIP Code was $660,000 based on 26, according to Corelogic. The median sale price for single-family homes in the area was $3.55 million.
Hart, 65, hosted “Entertainment Tonight” from 1982 to 2011. Her other television credits include the sitcom “Baby Daddy” and the animated series “Family Guy.”
Sugarman, 76, is known for producing the rock showcase “The Midnight Special” and the TV game show “The Newlywed Game.” His film credits include the 1982 romantic comedy “Kiss Me Goodbye” and “Children of a Lesser God” (1986).
