Britney Spears lands a 21-acre estate in Thousand Oaks
Singer Britney Spears has snagged an estate in Thousand Oaks for $7.4 million, The Times has confirmed.
The 21-acre spread includes a 12,464-square-foot Italian villa, a three-green golf course with sand traps, a lighted tennis court, an infinity pool, a spa and an orchard.
A dramatic two-story entry opens to a great room with a 35-foot-tall ceiling. An oak-walled library, a formal dining room, a media/game room, five bedrooms and eight bathrooms plus a detached pool house with kitchen are among the living areas.
A 3,500-bottle wine cellar and an elevator are among the features.
The property is in an enclave originally developed by actors Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis.
Spears, 33, gained a pop following in the 1990s and remains one of the bestselling singers of all time, according to the Recording Industry Assn. of America. Her eight albums include “... Baby One More Time” (1999) and “Britney Jean” (2013).
Nicole Van Parys and Kevin Nguyen of Engel & Voelkers were the listing agents, the Multiple Listing Service shows.
