ESPN analyst Brad Daugherty has put his house in the Hope Ranch area of Santa Barbara up for sale after less than a year of ownership. He bought the ranch-style home last year for about $2.356 million and is asking $2.795 million.

At more than two acres, it’s a nice spread with a winding drive, a swimming pool with a spa and a three-stall barn.

The remodeled single-story house, built in 1953, has open-plan living areas, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a powder room in 2,136 square feet of space. Details include inlaid wood floors and crown molding. The kitchen was updated during his ownership to remove the center island.

A stone patio with a fire pit and a built-in barbecue sit near mature oaks and palms. A cabana with an outdoor shower is adjacent to the swimming pool.

Daugherty, 50, is a former No. 1 overall draft pick who went on to make five NBA All-Star teams in eight seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers. His career was cut short due to a back injury. The retired pro basketball player turned racing team owner is a college basketball and NBA analyst for ESPN.
