Benji Madden of Good Charlotte puts his Hollywood Hills bachelor pad on the market
Guitarist and singer Benji Madden of the pop-punk band Good Charlotte has put his bachelor pad in Hollywood Hills West up for sale at $1.495 million.
Madden, who this year married actress Cameron Diaz, bought the secluded bungalow almost three years ago for $1.124 million.
A gated driveway crosses over a stream to reach the forested home, which was built in 1951 and has been renovated. The 2,183 square feet of contemporary, white-walled interiors feature a stone fireplace, expansive windows and an open floor plan.
An updated kitchen with a breakfast bar, three bedrooms and three bathrooms are among the living spaces. A brick terrace, decks and patios surround the home, which sits on more than half an acre.
Madden, 36, is part of the pop-punk band and the rock duo The Madden Brothers with his twin brother, Joel Madden. They are both coaches on the TV singing-competition show “The Voice.”
