Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis sells his villa in Hollywood Hills
Red Hot Chili Peppers singer and lyricist Anthony Kiedis has sold his 1940s villa in Hollywood Hills West for $4.2 million.
The remodeled two-story opens to a living room with 14-foot-tall ceilings and French doors that open to city views. The dining room features coffered ceilings and has a terrace overlooking the swimming pool.
A new kitchen, a library with high ceilings, a bar, a bonus room, three bedrooms and four bathrooms are within the living space, which tax records show to be 2,679 square feet. There are cityscape views.
Gardens and paths complete the walled and gated grounds of close to a quarter-acre.
Kiedis, 52, co-founded the Grammy Award-winning alternative rock band. The group has recorded 10 studio albums and such hits as “Can’t Stop,” “Higher Ground” and “Under the Bridge.”
The musician bought the property two years ago for $3.65 million, public records show.
Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency was the listing agent. George Penner and Joshua Gaunya of Deasy Penner & Partners represented the buyer.
