Maroon 5’s Adam Levine lists Beverly Crest home for sale at $17.5 million
Singer-songwriter and television personality Adam Levine has put his home in the Beverly Crest area up for sale at $17.5 million, or about four times what he paid for the property four years ago.
Reached by a long, gated drive, the 1940 house underwent a top-to-bottom renovation deviating from traditional detail for a more contemporary design. Open-plan living areas feature cathedral-style ceilings, skylights and a stone wall fireplace. Sliding walls of glass take in views of the grounds and the surrounding canyons.
A chef’s kitchen done in Zebrawood, a media room, a den/library and a gym/spa lie within a single story. A custom two-story garage holds an elevated lift and a game/card room with a speakeasy-style bar.
Five bedrooms and seven bathrooms lie within 7,100 square feet of interiors.
Outdoors, there’s a swimming pool and spa and a north-south tennis court. Mature trees and landscaping complete the nearly four-acre setting.
Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency holds the listing.
Levine, 37, is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Grammy Award-winning pop rock band Maroon 5. He has appeared on the competition reality series “The Voice’ since 2011.
He bought the house in 2012 for $4.83 million.
