When comedian Adam Carolla and his wife, Lynette Paradise, listed their Spanish Revival home in the Hollywood Hills for sale at $5,299,995 last month, we wondered if they’d bought something else.

Sure enough, public records and the trail of a trust show that the couple landed a house in La Cañada Flintridge a couple of months back for $2.5 million.

Described as Midcentury Modern ranch in style, the 1963 one-level home is set on close to half an acre. A deck/terrace off the vaulted ceiling living room overlooks lawn and mature trees.

Two separate kitchen and living room areas, a family room, five bedrooms and four bathrooms are within the 3,980 square feet of living space.

Carolla stars in and executive produces the reality series “Catch a Contractor.” From the listing details, this house wouldn’t seem to need one. Upgrades include fresh paint inside and out and new flooring, sprinklers, landscaping, garage door and driveway. The kitchen and bathrooms, however, appear more vintage.
