HBO Go enables AirPlay for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch apps
HBO has updated its HBO Go apps for the iPhone and iPad to enable them to stream content to the Apple TV.
The app update, released Tuesday afternoon, adds Apple’s AirPlay feature, which lets users push content from their Apple smartphone or tablet, as well the iPod Touch, to the Apple TV.
The addition of AirPlay was announced by HBO Co-President Eric Kessler at a conference in Dana Point sponsored by the website AllThingsD.

“Our long-term goal for Go is to be on all devices and all platforms,” Kessler said, according to AllThingsD.
Earlier this year reports also said HBO Go will be coming directly to the Apple TV, but that was not announced Tuesday.
