Best Buy reveals prices of Nokia Lumia 920, HTC Windows 8X phones

Best Buy’s website may have inadvertently disclosed the pricing for two upcoming Windows Phone 8 devices.

Neither Nokia nor HTC have announced prices for their flagship Windows Phone 8 devices since unveiling them in September, but on Sunday, a page on bestbuy.com showed the price for both phones.

According to the Windows Phone 8 page, Best Buy is selling pre-orders for the HTC Windows 8X for $99.99 on a new two-year contract. The Windows 8X is a 4.3-inch screen smartphone with 8 GB of storage.

More importantly, the page was also allowing customers to pre-order the Nokia Lumia 920, but the link to the product page has since been removed. Best Buy showed the phone’s price at $149.99 with a new two-year contract, according to WPCentral.

AT&T; will be selling both phones exclusively, and if it does sell the Lumia 920 at $149.99, the iPhone 5 challenger may have an impact on the market.

The Lumia 920 features a 4.5-inch screen with a 1,280-by-768-pixel resolution and a 330-pixel-per-inch density. The phone also uses a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor and has 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.

One of its standout features is its camera technology. The Lumia 920 has an 8.7-megapixel rear camera and has technology that is supposed to provide high-quality night shots and stabilize video recordings.

Best Buy’s site also shows that both devices cost $599.99 unlocked. Neither the electronics retailer nor AT&T; could be reached for comment.
