Red Samsung Galaxy S III to arrive at AT&T; July 29
AT&T; says its exclusive red Samsung Galaxy S III will arrive July 29.
The phone, which is on every top network in the U.S., will only be available in its red iteration -- officially called “Garnet Red” -- to customers for AT&T.;
Pre-orders for the red phone will begin July 15 and can be made online or at AT&T; stores, according to a company statement.
The red Galaxy S III will be joining its counterparts, which are the Pebble Blue and Marble White Galaxy S IIIs.
AT&T; begin selling the Galaxy S III at its stores last week. It carriers only 16 GB versions of the phone, and it has them available for about $200 with a two-year contract. The company said those same details will apply to the Garnet Red Galaxy S III as well.
The Galaxy S III has a 4.8-inch screen and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It also has a feature called S Voice that is a competitor for Apple’s Siri.
The Galaxy S III has been enjoying large success since debuting in late May. Samsung’s flagship phone made its way to Sprint and T-Mobile last month, and this month, the company says it expects to ship out the 10 millionth unit of the phone from sales to carriers worldwide.
The Samsung Galaxy S III will also be arriving to Verizon this Friday.
