Lindsay Lohan reportedly at work on a book about her life
Lindsay Lohan now has a literary agent, according to TMZ. And where a literary agent with celebrity clients goes, book deals tend to follow.
Lohan’s meeting with Waxman Leavell was filmed for her reality series on OWN. The agency has represented Michael Phelps, “Survivor’s” Mark Burnett and Cheryl Burke from “Dancing With the Stars.”
Lohan’s story has the potential to be a big seller.
The starlet’s public troubles began in 2007, when she was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of cocaine. Her guilty plea was followed by a cycle of court appearances, jail time, probation, community service and rehab.
Before that, she was a child star with a bright future. She starred in three Disney pictures -- 1998’s “The Parent Trap,” “Freaky Friday” in 2003, and 2005’s “Herbie Fully Loaded” -- before her public partying persona apparently interfered with her career.
Tabloids began following the actress in earnest during her relationship with Samantha Ronson. Her ups and downs have continued to make good tabloid fodder through the recent Art Basel in Miami, which allegedly included a physical fight with Barron Hilton.
A memoir could explain what it’s like to live inside the Lohan bubble. What it might not be able to explain is her performance in recent critical flops, Lifetime’s “Liz & Dick” and the movie “The Canyons.”
