In her tenure at Tarsus, Maáza Martin has driven marketing and strategic planning for TP-03, a key investigational drug candidate targeting Demodex blepharitis. She launched the impactful “Look at the Lids” campaign, educating eye care professionals and positively influencing earlier diagnosis. Martin’s critical role includes championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) efforts within Tarsus. She established the DE&I Council, promoting an inclusive workplace and supporting societal and healthcare-related issues. She leads the business pillar, ensuring DE&I remains at the forefront of company interactions. Beyond Tarsus, Martin’s dedication to DE&I extends to her work with OWL (Ophthalmic World Leaders), co-chairing the Program Committee to provide exceptional leadership events. As a speaker at NMA events, she inspires and guides young black doctors. She excels in diverse roles, including marketing, physician relations, strategic planning, and market research. Martin’s strong leadership and brand expertise enable her to lead cross-functional teams, identify market opportunities, and deliver creative solutions to drive business growth.
