Psy dances his way into Westwood
In the L.A. housing market, “gangnam style” appears to translate into “traditional condominium.”
Psy, the South Korean musician and dancing phenomenon of “Gangnam Style” video fame, and his own “sexy lady,” wife Hye-yeon Yoo, have bought a place in a 1989 building in Westwood for $1.249 million.
The Blair House condo features city views, high ceilings, a den, a balcony, two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The contemporary complex offers a saltwater swimming pool, a tennis court, a gym, a doorman and concierge services.
The singer-songwriter-rapper, 34, has the first YouTube video to exceed 1 billion views. Psy will star in an ad for pistachios to be aired next month during the Super Bowl.
The property last changed hands in 1999 for $950,000, public records show.

iTeenage buyer lands in the Hills
“iCarly” star Miranda Cosgrove joined the ranks of teenage home buyers with the purchase of a house in Hollywood Hills for $2.65 million.
The 1952 traditional-style home has nearly 3,000 square feet of living space and sits on more than a quarter of an acre. Features include a media room with a wet bar, formal living and dining rooms, three en suite bedrooms and a powder room. There is a swimming pool and a covered pavilion with a flat-screen TV.
Cosgrove, 19, did commercial work before appearing in the film “The School of Rock” (2003). She starred as Carly Shay on the Nickelodeon series beginning in 2007. Before that she starred in “Drake & Josh” (2004-07).
The property previously changed hands in 2009 for $2.21 million, public records show.

Neutra suits his style
The Richard Neutra-designed Singleton House in Bel-Air has been purchased by billionaire and luxury goods titan Francois Pinault for $16.5 million.
Hair industry magnate Vidal Sassoon and his wife, Rhonda, bought the Midcentury Modern style home in 2004 for $6 million, according to public records.
The renovated 6,400-square-foot house sits on 5.2 acres with a swimming pool and spa. A path of concrete steppingstones continues over a reflecting pond to terrace space by the pool. Features include expanses of glass walls, a media room, four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Pinault, 76, founded PPR, which owns high-end brands such as Gucci. Vidal Sassoon died in May at 94.
Kurt Rapport of Westside Estate Agency was the listing agent. Jeffrey Hyland and Rick Hilton of Hilton & Hyland represented the buyer.
SpaceX founder finds a space
Billionaire entrepreneur and inventor Elon Musk has paid $17 million for a mansion in Bel-Air.
Built in 1990 and remodeled with entertaining in mind, the 20,248-square-foot manse features a two-story library, a theater, a library/study, a wine cellar, a gym, seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The 1.7-acre property includes a tennis court, a swimming pool and an expansive motor court.
Musk, 41, founded Hawthorne rocket maker Space Exploration Technologies Corp., known as SpaceX. He co-founded electric-car company Telsa Motors Inc. and the Internet payment company that would become PayPal.
The property previously changed hands in 1997 for $5.35 million, public records show.
Victoria Risko of Sotheby’s Beverly Hills office was the listing agent. Brian Ades of the Sunset office represented Musk.
His innings at estate are over
No more waiting on deck for former Dodgers President Dennis Mannion. He has sold his estate in La Cañada Flintridge for $2.7 million.
The Spanish-style compound, on 2 acres, has views of Pasadena, Glendale and Los Angeles. The 5,019-square-foot main house, built in 1960 and designed for entertaining, features walls of glass, an oversize living room, a family room, an office, four bedrooms and four bathrooms. A two-room studio of 781 square feet includes a three-quarter bathroom. Among outdoor amenities are a swimming pool, a spa and a barbecue area with a fireplace.
Mannion, who started with the Dodgers in 2007 as executive vice president, left the team in 2010. He is president of the Detroit Pistons and Palace Sports & Entertainment.
Public records show he bought the property in 2009 for $3.1 million.

Restless for her next redo?
Actress Michelle Stafford of “The Young and the Restless” has bought a house in Glendale for $926,500.
The two-story house with basement was commissioned by a Loma Linda Hospital doctor and built in 1948. Other medical professionals bought or lived in the house over the years, earning it the nickname “The Doctor’s House.” Stafford has a history of restoring older homes.
The two-story Monterey Colonial-style house of nearly 3,000 square feet features a central hall, a formal dining room, an updated kitchen, a den, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There are patios, a front lawn and a backyard swimming pool.
Stafford, 47, joined the soap opera in 1994. She won a Daytime Emmy in 2004 for outstanding lead actress in a drama series.
