Bob Miller misses Kings game because of illness
Kings broadcaster Bob Miller missed Saturday’s game because of an undisclosed illness, only the 18th broadcast he has missed in 37 seasons and his first absence since Nov. 2, 2002.
A club spokesman said Miller’s illness was not believed to be serious, and that Miller might return for the team’s game Monday against Columbus at Staples Center.
Jim Fox and Daryl Evans called Saturday’s game on FS West, while radio play-by-play announcer Nick Nickson and lakings.com writer Rich Hammond called the game on KTLK.
