Ciao! Manhattan For a brief moment in the 1960s, “it girl” and Andy Warhol disciple Edie Sedgwick captivated New York. “Ciao! Manhattan,” a barely veiled portrait of Sedgwick that blurs the lines between fiction and reality, captures the magnetism and the tragedy of the doomed star. Los Angeles Skate Festival Los Angeles finally has its very own ode to the popular subculture of skateboarding with the 1st Los Angeles Skate Festival. Before videos of athletes performing breathtaking tricks on four small wheels surfaced in the film and video world, skateboarding did not enjoy the popularity that it does today.
