MOVIES
Ciao! Manhattan For a brief moment in the 1960s, “it girl” and Andy Warhol disciple Edie Sedgwick captivated New York. “Ciao! Manhattan,” a barely veiled portrait of Sedgwick that blurs the lines between fiction and reality, captures the magnetism and the tragedy of the doomed star. Co-director David Weisman and costars Wesley Hayes and Jeff Briggs will be on hand to discuss the film. Silent Movie Theatre, 611 N. Fairfax Ave., L.A. 8 p.m. $12. (323) 655-2510. https://www.cinefamily.org.
