No. 12 Ohio State 45, at Northwestern 10:Terrelle Pryor threw for three scores and Chris “Beanie” Wells ran for two more, leading the Buckeyes (8-2, 5-1) over the Wildcats (7-3, 3-3) at Evanston, Ill. Pryor completed nine of 14 passes for 197 yards, and had 33 on the ground. Wells finished with 140 yards in 28 carries. Mike Kafka got another start for Northwestern with C.J. Bacher still nursing a hamstring injury. But Kafka couldn’t duplicate his big day from last week, when he set a Big Ten quarterback record with 217 yards rushing. Kafka finished with 83 yards rushing and a score.

at Michigan State 21, Purdue 7: Javon Ringer scored two touchdowns and the Spartans (9-2, 6-1) used a dominating defense to beat the Boilermakers (3-7, 1-5) at East Lansing and stay alive in the Big Ten title chase. Ringer, had 121 yards in 32 carries.

Wisconsin 55, at Indiana 20: P.J. Hill ran for three touchdowns, David Gilreath had two more, John Clay scored once, and all three players topped 100 yards rushing to lead the Badgers (5-5, 2-5) over the Hoosiers (3-7, 1-5) at Bloomington.

Michigan 29, at Minnesota 6: K.C. Lopata kicked five field goals and the Wolverines (3-7, 2-4) ended a five-game losing streak by beating the Golden Gophers (7-3, 3-3) at Minneapolis.

at Western Michigan 23, Illinois 17: Tim Hiller threw two touchdowns and John Potter kicked three field goals to help the Broncos (8-2) beat the Illini (5-5) at Ford Field in Detroit.
