Banning Ranch: An article in Tuesday’s California section about a land battle between Newport Beach and Costa Mesa gave the wrong last name for Costa Mesa’s city planner. She is Kimberly Brandt, not Kimberly Grant. Also, in describing Costa Mesa’s application to annex Banning Ranch, the article referred to Mayor Allan R. Mansoor. He was the mayor at the time the city applied but no longer is.
