During the Harlem Renaissance, the place to be was the famed Cotton Club, the book to read was anything by Langston Hughes and the man to listen to was jazz pianist Fats Waller. In the late ‘70s, Waller’s hit “Ain’t Misbehavin’ ” became the title of a Tony Award-winning musical that paid tribute to that Harlem of the ‘20s and ‘30s. Now the Cabrillo Music Theatre is presenting a 30th anniversary production of the show, directed by original cast member Ken Page, at the Kavli Theatre in Thousand Oaks.
