Bouncer shot dead at nightclub; 2 arrested

A 29-year-old bouncer was shot and killed early Saturday after a dispute at The Vanguard nightclub, authorities said.
Ron Emerick of Redondo Beach died shortly after the 2 a.m. shooting, which also injured a 22-year-old customer.
According to Los Angeles police, Emerick was mortally wounded when two men got into a dispute with the club’s staff.
The men, Milton Do, 19, of West Covina and Tim Lee, 26, of Downey, fled but were captured when they lost control of their vehicle and crashed near the Hollywood Freeway.
