Man suspected in strangulation of wife

A West Los Angeles man has been arrested in the strangulation of his wife after he walked into a police station and told the desk officer on duty that his wife was dead.
LAPD officers who went to the man’s home in the 2000 block of Garth Avenue late Wednesday found the woman’s body in a bedroom, police spokesman Jason Lee said.
Virgil Leo Wagaman, 34, was arrested on suspicion of murder and was being held in lieu of $1-million bail.
