Pianist sub: Pianist Martha Argerich, citing illness, has canceled her performances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and at the Orange County Performing Arts Center on Sunday. She’ll be replaced by Ingrid Fliter, who in January won the Gilmore Artist Award, a $300,000 prize given every four years to a pianist deemed to be exceptional.
