* The median price of a home in California rose to $575,800 in June -- up 6.2% from a year ago -- and sales fell 26.3%, compared with the same period a year ago, the California Assn. of Realtors reported. The June 2006 median price increased 2% compared with May’s revised $564,440 median price.
