Cornell to sing Bond film theme

Chris Cornell, frontman of the rock band Audioslave, will record the theme song for the James Bond film “Casino Royale.”
Cornell’s song, “You Know My Name,” will open the movie, which marks Daniel Craig’s debut as Agent 007. It is set to open Nov. 17.
Cornell, 42, is a former singer and guitarist with Seattle grunge band Soundgarden. He joins a list of Bond vocalists that includes Paul McCartney, Madonna, Sheryl Crow and Shirley Bassey.
