A woman’s role
RE “She’s the Woman All the Other Women Love or Hate,” by Suzy Hansen, June 27: It’s interesting when people proclaim that they have the market cornered on happiness and then feel they need to dictate those standards to the rest of us. I think Linda R. Hirshman has missed the point, considerably. It doesn’t matter if you work or stay home or a combination of both. What matters is what your heart tells you to do and if you follow it. If you do, then pass that gift on to your kids. Anything and everything else really is just an illusion of grandeur.
