Kobe’s Not Scoring Many Points Here
It’s sad to see the Lakers have gone from “Showtime” to “The Kobe and Nobody Show.”
Kobe Bryant’s undeniable talent and his equally intransigent refusal to share the spotlight will guarantee him lots of billing but no more bling.

The Lakers’ so-called triangle offense often more closely resembles a straight line with a gigantic neon arrow leading directly to Kobe Bryant.
C’mon, Phil. Some of us are tired of looking at Bryant playing one-on-five ball while the other Lakers stand around, looking like his personal traffic cones. Even that challenging macho glare that Kobe gives opponents whenever he’s about to drive in a crowd or toss a forehead-slapping, 30-foot shot can elicit groans from the Staples faithful.
Sadly, many Laker fans have already figured out that Kobe will probably be at home, staring at his smiling reflection in the scoring title trophy, while Shaq is leading his team to yet another shot at the championship.
Woe is us.

It’s not Kobe’s fault that God didn’t grant his teammates enough talent and skills.
It’s not Kobe’s fault Jerry Buss didn’t get even half the value in return for Shaq.
It’s certainly not Kobe’s fault that he is simply this good.

I heard Kobe Bryant was diagnosed with a kidney stone but refused to pass it.
