Hilton Sells Charlotte Property to Stanford
Stanford Hotels Corp. bought Hilton Hotels Corp.’s Charlotte Hilton Center City hotel for $56 million, a Stanford executive said.
It is the 10th property divestiture since late May for the Beverly Hills-based hospitality company, which has announced sales worth a combined $373.1 million.
Stanford Hotels, which owns and manages 17 full-service hotels in the United States, will keep the Hilton brand and could spend as much as $10 million over the next 30 months renovating the North Carolina hotel.
A Hilton representative could not be reached for comment.
