Full commuter train service from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles to Ventura County and the Antelope Valley was scheduled to resume today, Metrolink officials said Sunday.

The service was suspended to allow the repair of damaged track after last week’s crash near Glendale that killed 11 people and injured as many as 180 passengers.

The Ventura County line averages about 4,200 passengers a day and the Antelope Valley line about 6,800, according to Metrolink’s website.
