Clean hands or dirty gloves?
Your story “Gloves or Bare Hands? It’s a Wash” [Feb. 14] reminded me of the time I was in the local outlet of a well-known national chain of sandwich restaurants. I was shocked when one of the preparers sneezed into her (gloved) hands and then blithely returned to preparing a customer’s sandwich. Obviously, in this case, wearing plastic gloves did not contribute to the healthfulness of the food.
