Last We Checked, Bruins Were Members of Pac-10
I’m a bit confused. How can an article bemoaning the Pac-10’s “poor” nonconference record this season (“Pac-10 Is Seeking a Little Redemption,” Dec. 28) merely gloss over the fact that UCLA has but one loss, and that to the country’s No. 4 team?
Even more puzzling, how can two of the conference’s better coaches, Dick Bennett and Lute Olson, fail to even mention UCLA in commenting on the subject? Are these guys oblivious, or are they being disingenuous? What gives?
