Great White album is pulled
An album issued in Italy featuring L.A. hard-rock band Great White singing cover versions of songs by other performers is being withdrawn from distribution because the title, “Burning House of Love,” was deemed in poor taste by the band.
The title is that of a song Great White recorded by L.A. punk band X. Because of the nightclub fire that killed 100 fans at a Great White show in Rhode Island last year, the band ordered the distributor to pull the album.
The group’s manager said the band was unaware of the album until after it was released.
