TV ratings: The WB’s new series “Blue Collar TV” got off to a promising start Thursday night, ratings from Nielsen Media Research showed Friday. The comedy with Jeff Foxworthy finished second in its 8 p.m. slot in both total viewers (nearly 5.4 million) and the 18-49 age group coveted by most advertisers. CBS’ “Big Brother 5” was first.
