ILLINOIS
An Illinois man on the FBI’s most-wanted list for allegedly stalking and killing two former girlfriends has been captured in Mexico, the FBI announced.
Michael Alfonso, 35, was arrested without incident in Veracruz after a tipster recognized him from the “America’s Most Wanted” television show and contacted the U.S. Embassy, said Thomas Kneir, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Chicago office.
The unidentified tipster is expected to receive a $50,000 reward, Kneir said.
