Newborn Boy Found Dead at Recycling Plant
From Times Staff Reports
A newborn boy was found dead Tuesday by workers at a Stanton recycling plant, authorities said.
The discovery was made about 6 p.m. at the CR Transfer and Stanton Materials Recovery facility on Knott Avenue.
The infant was found in a pile of debris being sorted on a conveyor belt.
Late Tuesday, investigators had not determined how long the body -- which was partially wrapped in paper -- had been in the trash.
