The Trojans are coming off their most lopsided victory of the season, 83-47, over Washington State, but USC hasn’t won in Seattle since March 9, 2000.

Pepperdine (9-14, 4-4) at Portland (10-11, 4-4), 7 p.m. -- After consecutive losses, Pepperdine is tied for fourth place in the West Coast Conference with Portland and San Francisco. Center Derick Grubb had an encouraging 10-point, eight-rebound effort in a loss to Gonzaga after being replaced in the starting lineup by Jesse Pinegar. Sophomore Eugene Jeter is averaging 17.5 points for Portland.

UC Santa Barbara (12-7, 6-4) at No. 24 Utah State (18-1, 10-0), 3 p.m., Fox Sports Net 2, KTLK (1340) -- A loss to Idaho on Thursday dropped the Gauchos four games behind Utah State and three games behind second-place Pacific in the Big West Conference. Harris is shooting 70% -- best in the nation -- and is averaging 15.1 points and 6.6 rebounds in conference play.

Cal State Northridge (8-10, 4-6) at UC Irvine (9-10, 4-6), 7:30 p.m., KUCI-FM (88.9) -- Northridge has won two of its last three after losing five of six. Irvine’s four-game losing streak is its longest since the 1999-2000 season. “We’ve got lots of guys who haven’t been in this position before,” Irvine Coach Pat Douglass said. “They don’t know how to respond, especially the seniors.”

Pacific (14-7, 9-1) at Long Beach State (6-13, 4-6), 7:30 p.m. -- Pacific has won five in a row and trails fist-place Utah State by a game in the Big West. The Tigers beat Long Beach, 70-55, in Stockton but have a five-game losing streak at the Pyramid. Long Beach is in a four-way tie for fourth place with Santa Barbara, Northridge and Irvine.

UC Riverside (6-11, 3-6) at CS Fullerton (6-12, 2-7), 7 p.m. -- Win or lose, Fullerton will remain in last place in the Big West, but a victory would give the Titans company and leave both teams scrambling to earn a spot in the conference’s postseason tournament. Riverside has lost four in a row and has only one win on the road; Fullerton is 4-5 at home.
