Volunteer Firefighters Get Prison for Arson

Four members of a volunteer fire company, including the chief and assistant chief, were sent to prison for a scheme to burn down their social hall so they could afford to build a new one.
Pittsburgh prosecutors said the Isabella firehouse was torched in 2002 for $500,000 in insurance money.
Sentences ranged from 2 1/2 to five years on charges including arson, filing false insurance claims and lying to investigators.
