Housing Authority Sued in Harassment Claim

The federal government sued the San Francisco Housing Authority on Wednesday, alleging the city’s public housing landlord has been indifferent to claims of racial harassment.
The suit, filed in U.S. District Court here, alleges the housing authority, which owns and operates public housing in San Francisco, knowingly tolerated harassment of residents on the basis of race, color and religion.
