3 Dead, 2 Wounded in Weekend Shootings
Two weekend shootings left three men dead and two others wounded, authorities said Sunday.
One victim was fatally shot Saturday night in the 600 block of Sloan Avenue. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Alba Yates.
The four other shooting victims were found early Sunday in the 800 block of East Pine Street. Two were pronounced dead at the scene and the other two were taken to a hospital, Yates said.
No other information was immediately available on the condition of the wounded men. It is not known whether the shootings were related, Yates said.
