Santiago’s Jackson Commits to Colorado
Bernard Jackson of Corona Santiago High, one of the most versatile quarterbacks in Southern California, has committed to Colorado.
Jackson is known for his running as well as his passing. He took recruiting trips to Nebraska, Kansas State and Colorado before deciding on the Buffaloes.
He’s the fourth quarterback from the Southland to commit to a major Division I college. The others are Huntington Beach Edison’s Tommy Grady (Oklahoma), Woodland Hills Taft’s Cary Dove (California) and Mission Viejo Trabuco Hills’ Brian White (Colorado).
Defensive back Christian Bass of Moreno Valley Canyon Springs has committed to Washington State.
Jodie Legaspi of Garden Grove Pacifica, a top softball infielder, has committed to UCLA.
All-Pacific League shortstop Kyle Barratt of Crescenta Valley has visited UC Riverside and has scheduled a recruiting trip to UC Santa Barbara next weekend.
Soccer player Taylor Canel of Encino Crespi has committed to UCLA.
Notre Dame has asked receiver Mark Bradford of L.A. Fremont to make a recruiting visit.
