Fund-Raiser Saturday for Sheriff’s Canine Unit
Ventura County Sheriff’s Department dispatchers will hold their annual 9K 4 K9 Walk/Run fund-raiser beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Moorpark High School.
In addition to the walk/run, there will be pet-related vendors, pet adoption agencies, K9 demonstrations and raffles. Participants are invited to bring their own dogs.
The event raises money from private sponsors who pledge to make donations on behalf of participants.
Funds collected will go to the sheriff’s canine unit.
The school is at 4500 Tierra Rejada Drive.
