The stylish brunet with the ice blue eyes slid her mini-skirted derriere onto a stool and leaned into the bartender, “Whaddaya got that’s blue?” It’s not that she’s got a jones for curacao, it’s that the brunet, my sister Lorraine, thinks drinks should not only taste good, but make you look good when you sip them. So, the Blue Moon Martini gets her stamp of approval. The sweetness of blue curacao does a balancing act against the tartness of a splash of lemonade while a shot of vodka gives them both a little sting. It also looks sleek in your hand, served straight up, after the bartender strains it into a martini glass and adds a curly lemon twist.
