Defendant’s Statements Allowed in Murder Case

A San Joaquin County Superior Court judge denied a defense request to suppress statements made by 21-year-old Sarah Dutra, who is accused of helping 36-year-old Laren Sims Jordan poison her husband.
Defense attorney Kevin Clymo argued that statements Dutra made hours before she was arrested in the slaying of Sacramento attorney Larry McNabney should not be allowed into court.
