Man Admits Bid to Sell Missile Secrets to Russia
From Times Wire Reports
A former aircraft engineer for a defense company admitted in court that he tried to sell secrets about Britain’s stealth cruise missile program to Russia.
Ian Parr, 45, was arrested at a pub in March while trying to sell secret documents for $200,000 to a man he believed was a Russian. The contact was actually an agent for Britain’s domestic intelligence service.
Parr faces up to 14 years in prison.
