Play to Focus on Pioneer Women

A play on the lives of pioneer women will be staged by the Cal Lutheran University drama department in April and May.
Described as a musical celebration of the hardships and triumphs of the everyday women who helped settle the West, much of the play, “Quilters,” is based on real events and interviews.
“Quilters” will open at 8 p.m. April 25 and continue through April 27, then again May 2-4. A matinee is scheduled May 5. For ticket details, call 493-3302.
