Coach Held on Suspicion of Sex With Student
A Corona del Mar High School soccer coach has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with one of his students, authorities said Friday. John Ronald Evans, 32, of Huntington Beach was arrested about 11 p.m. Thursday.
The girl was 17 and a student when the incident allegedly happened within the last year, police said. In addition to coaching soccer, Evans has taught math at the school for about four years.
