Belgium was selected the cleanest team at the World Cup after finishing atop FIFA’s fair-play standings ahead of Sweden and Japan.

The distinction is awarded by soccer’s governing body to teams that have played at least four matches and takes into account the number of yellow and red cards a team receives.

Behavior on and off the field and attacking play are also rewarded.
