Habitat for Humanity Orientation Meetings Set
Low-income families who live in inadequate housing in Ventura County and don’t have the money to move may be eligible to apply for one of two Habitat for Humanity homes to be built in Oxnard.
Families must meet income requirements, have a good credit history and be able to make monthly mortgage payments.
Interested families must attend an orientation session either on July 13 at 8 a.m. or July 16 at 5 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Parish Hall, 144 South C St., in Oxnard.
Habitat for Humanity is an international group seeking to eliminate substandard housing and help low-income families become homeowners. Families selected for houses are expected to participate in their home’s construction, as well as help with construction of other Habitat for Humanity homes.
