DWP Snubs Mayor
Is it just me or does it smell bad to others when the Department of Water and Power commission approves a $2.4-million PR contract despite opposition from the mayor and the controller (June 5)? I smell a hidden agenda somewhere out there. Common sense says to wait a mere 30 days for the results of the controller’s audit and then make a more informed decision. By the way, has anybody asked ratepayers whether they want their money going to promote this Green LA program?
