Body May Be Man Who Was Attacked, Missing
From Times Staff Reports
Police say they may have found the body of a 21-year-old computer engineer who disappeared two months ago from his Northridge home.
The body, thought to be that of Peter Cruz IV, was recovered Friday in a remote area along Angeles Crest Highway north of La Canada Flintridge.
Robert Wynn, 23, of North Hills was arrested Wednesday in Berkeley on suspicion of killing Cruz.
Cruz was attacked in his apartment, with items stolen in what police call a gang-related robbery.
