Ishii Wins Futures Golf Classic by One

Linda Ishii, a graduate of Westlake High and USC, shot a one-under-par 70 on Sunday to finish at five-under 208 to win the Lincoln Futures Golf Classic by one stroke at Blue Fox Run Golf Course in Avon, Conn.
Ishii, 25, a second-year Futures Tour player who also won in Albuquerque in May, edged Nicole Materne of Spokane, Wash., who shot a 73 on Sunday, and Michele Vinieratos of Altamonte Springs, Fla., who shot 75.
